    The Rhode Island Secretary of State’s office is the official repository of all state agency rules and regulations. All up-to-date DHS rules are filed on the Secretary of State’s website. You can search for a specific rule or regulation by date, title or by keyword.

    DHS Rules and Regulations     (DHS Policy Manual)
    This version of DHS Rules and Regulations is user-friendly and allows the user to search by section or by number of the rule or regulation. The rules are updated weekly to incorporate any amendments and/or revisions that were filed with the Secretary of State’s office.


    Despite our best efforts to ensure the accuracy of the DHS rules located on both websites, time lags and discrepancies sometimes occur. A paper version of the DHS Rules and Regulations is available on-site at the Secretary of State’s office.
