Medical Assistance Fee-For-Service
Medical Assistance Fee-For-Service is "traditional" Medical Assistance. It means getting your health or medical benefits directly from a provider that accepts Medical Assistance coverage. The white Medical Assistance ID card is used.
In the Fall of 2009, all adults who qualify for Medical Assistance will be required to enroll either in Rhody Health Partners or Connect Care Choice. Members in Connect Care Choice will use their white Medical Assistance ID card for covered benefits. Rhody Health Partners members will also still keep their Medical Assistance ID card for out-of-plan benefits. For information on these programs, see the links below.
