CEDARR Family Centers

 

A CEDARR Family Center is a place where families get help and support for children with special needs. With CEDARR Family Centers, a family can:

  • Learn more about their child’s disability or condition
  • Learn how to address their child’s needs now and in the future
  • Find resources in the community
  • Get information on a range of services and treatment options
  • Connect with other families who have had similar experiences

Eligibility

To be eligible for CEDARR Family Center services, a child must be eligible for Medical Assistance, under age 21, a Rhode Island resident, live at home and have a disabling or chronic condition that is cognitive, physical, developmental and/or psychiatric.

In addition to the services listed above, the following may be available for children.

What is the cost of CEDARR services?

There is no cost to families.
