RI Medical Assistance
The Rhode Island Medical Assistance Program, also known as "Medicaid" is a federal- and state-funded program that pays for medical and health related services for eligible Rhode Islanders. The following are Medical Assistance programs for eligible families and/or children:
- RIte Care Program
RI's Medicaid manage care program that provides comprehensive health care coverage through enrollment in participating health plans.
- RIte Share Program
RI's Premium Assistance Program that provides health coverage through an employer's health insurance. The State will pay all or part of an eligible employee's cost.
- Medical Assistance for Children with Special Health Care Needs
Children with special health care needs may qualify for Medical Assistance due to their disability or condition.
