• Effective January 1, 2012, Full compliance date for the 5010 transactions is January 1, 2012. Will you be ready? How does this affect your current HIPAA transactions? • Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentives, Beginning January 1, 2011, providers that participate in the RI Medicaid Program may be eligible for a $63,750 incentive payment over a six-year period if they have adopted and implemented a certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.  For more information, see RI Medicaid EHR Incentive Program.

  The U.S. Health and Human Services maintains a database that's accessible to the public that provides information about individuals or entities excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and all other Federal health care programs.
