maintain excellence in customer service and provider satisfaction, the Rhode Island
Department of Human Services in cooperation with EDS Provider Services Team welcomes you
to the Rhode Island Medical Assistance program.
Our Provider Services department consists of
Field Representatives, Customer Service Help Desk (CSHD) Representatives and Financial
Specialists who have extensive knowledge of Medicaid policy, billing requirements and
claims processing. We are committed to assisting the Rhode Island Medical
Assistance Providers in the submission of claims and in the resolution of claims because
it is important to us that providers be reimbursed timely. In order to further
facilitate this commitment, we have many references, forms, and links to other
health-related sites available: Provider Forms, Provider Manuals, Payment
and Processing Schedules, and Provider Updates,
Government and Other Health-Related Sites. For your
convenience, the forms are available for you to view and download on line or request
through the Customer Service Help Desk.
While the Customer Service Help Desk
Representatives are dedicated to answering verbal and written inquiries, Field
Representatives are also available to conduct workshops, on-site visits and answer more
in-depth questions. Our Field Representatives are
divided by provider type and for your convenience a listing has been provided. If you are
not certain of your provider type or have general billing, claim or policy questions,
