Ambulance

Provides Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, neonatal transport, emergency transport, as well as non-emergency transport to and from the hospital, LTC facility, or to and from the client's residence.

   
Clinical Lab An independent clinical laboratory may be a laboratory operated by and within a hospital or physician's office if the laboratory otherwise meets the criteria of an independent clinical laboratory.
   
Dental Dental services are a benefit to eligible recipients under the Rhode Island Medical Assistance Dental Services Program.
   
  DME Provides Durable Medical Equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and other supplies.
   
Home Health Home Health services provide therapy services prescribed by a physician and performed by a licensed therapist which include physical, occupational and speech therapy services, as well as home health aide services.
   
Hospice Home care, inpatient respite care, or general inpatient care provided to a client which has been considered to be terminally ill if there is a medical prognosis that life expectancy is six months or less.
   
Hospital Includes services provided within an inpatient stay, outpatient service, or emergency room visit.
   

LTC

Long Term Care is a nursing facility in a residential setting which provides care for the elderly, physically disabled and both the mentally and/or developmentally disabled.

       
  Pharmacy   Includes retail pharmacies, LTC pharmacies, and hospital pharmacies that provide filling prescriptions to qualified clients.
   
Physician Provides general physician services, allergy testing, anesthesia services, cardiology, maternity care and delivery, as well as other services which are indicated within the physician services provider reference manual.
   
Podiatry Provides various care and treatment of the human foot as described within the podiatry services provider reference manual.
   
Rehabilitative Services Rehabilitative services include, but are not limited to substance abuse treatment services, day treatment services for the mentally retarded, special education, early intervention, adult/children's mental health services and pediatric private duty nursing.
   
Vision Provides optometric services with specific limitations, refractive eye care examination, lenses including trifocals, contact lenses, oversized lenses, polycarbonate lenses and tints, frames and deluxe frames.
   

Waiver

Provides personal care attendant, homemaker, and combined homemaker and personal care for the aged and disabled, mentally retarded/developmentally disabled and SSI.
