RIte Resources
RIte Resources is a new web site that is designed for hospital discharge planners, patients, and their families. The goal of RIte Resources is to provide better information on the availability of servcies provided by nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home care agencies, and adult day care agencies. These entities will enter some basic information about their organization that allows the discharge planners, patients, and their families the ability to search for needed resources.
Hospital discharge planners, patients, and their families will be able to search RIte Resources to identify available services, based on location, type of service, and special needs. For more information, please check RIte Resources.

The Rhode to Home
Rhode Island’s The Rhode to Home is a new demonstration project that will align with other State efforts to re-balance RI’s long-term care system. Operational Protocols have recently been published. For more information, see What's New, Rhode to Home.

The SSI State Supplemental Payment Program
Effective January 1, 2011 - the Rhode Island Department of Human Services (DHS) assumes responsibility for the administration and distribution of the SSI State Supplemental Payments (SSP). For more information, click here.

Registration for EHR Incentives
This press release provides information about registering for the Medicare and Medicaid electronic health record (EHR) incentive program. Rhode Island is participating in a multi-state collaborative to build a web-site to facilitate registration in the program. Registration for eligible providers and hospitals in Rhode Island will be available, along with other states in the collaborative, in July 2011.
Generic Drugs First
On October 1, 2010, the Medicaid managed care health plans began implementing a Generic Drugs First Pharmacy Benefit for all RIte Care, Rhody Health Partners, Children with Special Health Care Needs and Children in Substitute Care. See Program Updates for more information.
